Mr Dan Fletcher is a trained laparoscopic surgeon. The advantages of the laparoscopic approach are less post-operative pain, quicker recovery, and reduced scarring.
Complex bowel problems often require a multidisciplinary approach to care and Mr Dan Fletcher is pleased to be able to work closely with his gastroenterology, oncology, radiology and pathology colleagues in this regard.
Direct access Colonoscopy/Gastroscopy is available at St John of God Hospital (whereby patients are added directly to an endoscopy list without the need for a clinic consultation) if clinically appropriate. Please talk to the View Street Consulting Rooms’ staff to discuss further.
